nice, and thanks mate, would you say wheels and suspension then tune or the other way? do you regret doing the other stuff before the tune or happy with the way you ordered it? (only asking because im not sure whether to save for wheels and suspension or get the tune then wheels and suspension... leaning towards wheels and suspension coz the power is enough for me... just a bonus later but apreciate advice)

I'm planning on taking an in depth look at the intake of the 147TSI when I get a chance, and comparing it 1:1 with the 125TDI.

That should shed some light on the situation.

Sweet not gonna do the wheels till my tires get close to the markers as I still have good tread on them. So gonna do the bumpers, suspension then wheels & tyres. ( anyone have any recommendations for cheap tyres that are any good? I'm talking like $600 new max... For 4 )

My suggestion is that if you do anywhere near the amount of k's I do (9 months and 30,000) then don't go for anything larger than 17's...

My front stock Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT+ wore out in around 23,000km.
    At $450/corner, thats not cheap.

Cheapest I could find were around $150/corner. Some el-cheapos to see me out until I eventually get some 17's.
17's will have much cheaper tyres. XD

Shouldn't you be saving all this money for the life of your new child? Just a thought
Good to see the passion though...and I guess It's none of my business
I look at my V-Dub, and all I can think is....."Dat Ass....."
